T ordered some bits her in Switzerland from a site akin to the well known book one. He was actually browsing at the time but had had to enter his name and address before getting on the site. He had put something in his basket ( as you do) and then went to "checkout" just to see what it was going to cost, posting and packaging, where to send it etc and it said "Thank you very much for your order it will be dispatched!" No chance to back out or change his mind and no payment request either. They know who you are and they have your address!
The package duly arrived ( a pink slip inside - this is the preferred way of paying here in switzerland). As you can see what T had ordered was really small and the packaging really large. Talk about overpackaging in England!! We decided it needed to be in a box that big for all the labels to be put on!!
