Well yesterday afternoon we went to Salisbury. The man bought an old lathe so is in 7th heaven. Has been looking around for a couple of years and this one was THE ONE apparently.
Today started off well and then sort of fell apart. We visited The Mall and got a birthday pressie for DGS birthday but then couldn't visit them as they had all had a rather nasty bug which sounded quite virulent.
We were going to visit a NT property on the way which we still did but when we arrived found it was CLOSED. That's what comes of not checking on the internet first.
Came home via Bristol and stopped at a picnic site which had a really good view. Have taken several pictures in the hope of getting a panarama.
