Yesterday was spent trying to decide what to do! However finally decided we would go to Bath. Arrived in time for lunch and as The man wanted a picnic we bought sandwiches etc and went to the little park round the back that I used to frequent when I worked in Bath. It is generally unknown to tourists so not so busy at this time of year. There is a little gated garden specially designed for the blind so it is full of lavendar and fountains etc. Unfortunately the roses had finished.
We then went to the assembly romms - another NT property. Beautiful chandeliers and lovely ballroom. Could just imagine the dancing that went on in olden days. There was an exhibition of floral frocks which was an added bonus.
Today is not so hot so we are to clear out the garage.
