Very Busy yesterday packing up to move flats. Did manage a bit of scrapping though. Based on the word TIME and change prompted by chatterbox chicks on UKS.
Takes ages to go through all the paperwork to move. Every mark and scratch has to be checked every piece of furniture checked off and every piece of crockery, cutlery etc has to be counted. That was in the new place - then we could go and get all our stuff and then the same thing had to be done in the old flat to check we hadn't made any new marks or scratches.
Think the whole thing took an hour and a half. We had a very late dinner at the new restaurant down the road. Very nice but it took ages to come when really we had wanted something very quickly. Didn't get back to start unpacking til just after 10pm.
Rain, rain and more rain - so what happened to flaming June and global warming?
From up here I get to see a few trees which is lovely and I am sure will be even more lovely if the sun shines.
