Well a quiet day turned into a busy day. Had planned on going to GC2 sports day but other things intervened and visited the parents instead. Had lunch out in a pub. Am so looking forward to Jul 1st when you can go into a pub without it being full of smoke. Fortunately they had a nonsmoking room. I had smoked haddock and spring onion fishcakes which turned out to be deep fried - not quite what I was expecting.
A visit to the shops afterwards. Fortunately checked the till receipt as we had been diddled out of a buy one get one free item.
Then we got a free toilet roll. Not sure what that was about but I'm sure it will come in useful
GC2 won her running race and skipping race.
