Another bright day dawns and still not 100%. In fact think I have gone backwards again today. Anyway I was in the garden again and thought I had better check on the holly ready for the Chirtmas pud (which has yet to be made - although the one I make can actually be made on the day itself!). This little bush started as a tiny sprig but is gradually growing although I see I still have no berries yet.

Also noticed the bark of the silver birch peeling and the lovely red stems of the Cornus.
Almost lost this to frost a few years ago but it is fighting back again.
